Miley Cyrus – 'Endless Summer Vacation' (Backyard Sessions)

Miley Cyrus – Endless Summer Vacation (Backyard Sessions) is a music documentary film that is centered around the title singer in today's generation. She takes the stage in this must-see, Disney+ music event featuring debut performances of her highly anticipated eighth studio album, "Endless Summer Vacation." The global superstar’s cinematic, one-of-a-kind performances are threaded together with exclusive interviews where she provides insight into her new album and the person she is today.

Fans remember Miley Cyrus from her starring roles in the Disney Channel teen sitcom Hannah Montana, and feature films such as Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best Of Both Worlds Concert, Bolt, The Last Song, and Hannah Montana: The Movie. Miley has changed over the years, as seen from her appearance as a child star and her recent appearance. She has blonde hair, green eyes, mascara, and tattoos on her body; her appearance as a child is highlighted by her naturally brown hair. Her recent album "Endless Summer Vacation" is known for her current popular song "Flowers". In her song "Flowers", Miley Cyrus's voice sounds deeper in the alto range, reaching her lower notes. "Flowers" is played in the key of A minor.

She performs her signature song "The Climb", a song fans remember from Hannah Montana: The Movie. The song was recorded in 2009; a revised version of "The Climb" is played 14 years later. Her way of singing is different due to her alto range and raspier voice.

Miley Cyrus stars as herself, as this documentary is all about her in 2023. She shares in her recorded interviews that she is trying to find her true identity; this mirrors her performance as herself and as Hannah Montana in the movie and TV series. She had been a child star at a young age due to her strong interest in music. Clips switch between her songs and her recorded interviews. She also shares experiences from her past and her career. This documentary film is exciting and we learn that Miley Cyrus is a supporter of the LGBTQ+ community through open discussion about LGBTQ+ topics.

'The Half of it' Handles its Presented Social Issues Thoughtfully

The social issues The Half of it takes on are handled well, between the antagonization brought on to Ellie for her race and the conflict that arises from her being gay. Both aspects of her character are built up over the course of the film and don’t seem abrupt or rushed. The film shows racism towards Ellie and her and father in varying levels, from having her schoolmates specifically address her as "Chinese girl” to the fore mentioned way her Dad is treated due to language barriers. The same can be said about Ellie being a lesbian. While she never truly “comes out” in the narrative, that does not undermine her journey of self-discovery from being meaningful. These ideas aren’t thrust upon the viewer in a preachy manor, the scenarios that occur feel believable given the rural setting. The film presents watchers with problems whom those like Ellie may face, and leaves us to sit with them and reflect.

Review: The Roses – Marriage and the Sweet Taste of Revenge

The Roses is a wickedly sharp marital warfare comedy that transforms domestic dysfunction into high art. Olivia Colman and Benedict Cumberbatch deliver powerhouse performances as a couple whose fairy-tale romance implodes when his architectural career collapses just as her culinary empire takes off. What makes Jay Roach's remake so devastatingly effective is its refusal to pick sides—both spouses are equally sympathetic and monstrous, wielding Tony McNamara's razor-sharp dialogue like weapons forged from shared intimacies. It's a film that dares you to laugh at relationship wreckage while forcing you to confront the uncomfortable truth that the line between passionate love and mutual destruction is terrifyingly thin.
