‘Dog Lover’ Review: Strange and Generic But Witty For the Fetish Community
We all have our kinks and fetishes and what turns us on the most. Dog Lover details a serious (and at times unhealthy) look at a fetish that might go a little too far.

The movie revolves around a huge transnational drug trafficking transaction. Lei Zhanjun and Lei Zhansheng are twin brothers. The younger brother was involved in a local gang vendetta. He faked his death and had plastic surgery and escaped unscathed, taking away a huge amount of the gang's funds. The elder brother, who did not know the inside story, crossed national borders and chased the murderer thousands of miles away in order to find out the truth about his younger brother's "death". The younger brother, who had escaped, returned with a new face and identity in order to save his elder brother. Together with his elder brother, he desperately escaped under the double pursuit of the police and the underworld.

Amazon Prime's Pretty Lethal: Makes No Sense, Is No Fun
I write for a diversity-focused film review blog, so I’ll be honest: I really wanted to like Pretty Lethal. Starring Maddie Ziegler, Lana Condor, Iris Apatow, Avantika, and Millicent Simmonds, Amazon Prime’s new thriller seemed like it would be a girl power movie about dancers with a horror action twist. Sort of a Suspiria for teens. But with shallow and unlikeable characters, a confusing plot, an overreliance on violence, and cringey dialogue, any fun the movie started out with was quickly lost. What was left was a faint echo of greater horror movies about dancers made before.
A Refreshing and Hilarious Story About Faith and Second Chances
This surprisingly clever romantic comedy perfectly balances genuine heart with wild reality television chaos. It is an uplifting and funny reminder that second chances and real community can show up exactly when you stop looking for them.
