"Apex" Captures the Primal Fear of Being a Woman

Today is a special day. Alex has a photo session scheduled with Maria, the girl he loves. But an invisible man enters in his apartment and makes him nervous, thinking he has lost his mind. Alex can't stop thinking about it, and his relationship with Maria gets more tense. Who is the invisible man, and will Alex be able to win back Maria's affection?

Where we leave the characters is in such a peaceful and optimistic place. It feels well-earned to ensure everyone gets their own specially-crafted happy ending.
As one of the women said in the film, friendship in your teens is “as important as any lover” and it’s clear they lived that philosophy throughout their early adult lives as well.
"The Old Guard" doesn't break ground, but it sure does bust boredom and fictional heads as an entertaining action romp on Netflix.

So do I recommend that people see this movie, yes 100%, but do I think they are going to come out of it with 80 hot takes, yes 100%.
