Since turning professional, Yuzuru Hanyu has continued to deepen his skating while building a rich body of stories and expressions through his ICE STORY series. The first installment, “Yuzuru Hanyu ICE STORY 2023 ‘GIFT,’” was staged at Tokyo Dome, where an ice rink was specially constructed in what became a world-first scale venue for a figure skating performance. The second installment, “Yuzuru Hanyu ICE STORY 2nd ‘RE_PRAY’ TOUR,” explored the theme of “living,” while the third installment, “Yuzuru Hanyu ICE STORY 3rd ‘Echoes of Life’ TOUR,” presented a narrative and programs centered on the question of “life.” Now, the ICE STORY team where “the stories written by Hanyu” merge with “skating, music, visuals, and lighting” launches a new project: “REALIVE. ”Through “REALIVE,” the programs Hanyu has created so far will be brought back to the stage once again as “living entities” in a one-day-only live performance.
