After returning from a business trip to Japan, a young executive plans for his upcoming marriage. However, he discovers that during his absence, his fiancé Dolores has fallen in love with his brother, Fred. He breaks off the engagement and marries Julie, an orphan girl who was raised with his family. Fred and Dolores marry, but one day during an argument with her husband, Dolores has an accident and dies. Ramon blames his brother for her death, and begins to make plans to kill him.
