Marc wakes up tied to a chair. He has been kidnapped by a mysterious character who calls himself Ikki. This character wants Marc to confess all his sins, which seem to go beyond being a monotonous family man. Then a game of chess begins in which their own lives are at stake, in a duel of identities, mysteries and secrets. A game of cat and mouse where it is never clear who is the cat and who is the mouse.

If the message here is that without a support system, grieving people turn into monsters, it’s not really well-delivered and may be flawed as a message itself.
As a whole, Sightless pushed boundaries between illusion and reality. It made viewers question if there really is a difference. Ellen was strong, brave, and even compassionate given her situation. She was a force to be reckoned with.
Overall, The Shining is a great film to watch for its atmosphere and setting. While the characters’ portrayals could’ve been more accurate to the book, they’re all still memorable nonetheless.
