Asha's 'Wish' (2023)
Asha, the main character, is a biracial woman who discovers the power of magic wishing dust.

The documentary film depicts one aspect of the hacking scene and its evolution in the last 20 years. Who are hackers and what drives them? The film was produced for the 20-year anniversary of SI-CERT (Slovenian Computer Emergency Response Team) in cooperation with Sever & Sever Production and Slovenian National TV.
Asha, the main character, is a biracial woman who discovers the power of magic wishing dust.
"WHAT ARE YOU WILLING TO SACRIFICE?!!!!" "EVERYTHING!!!!!" This is but one of a multitude of highly emphatic questions, and subsequent answers, being asked in the newest feature film from one of the current masters of horror, Jordan Peele ("Get Out", "Us" and "Nope"). I must give Peele credit in that he continues to push the boundaries of specific genres and their associated tropes in order to provide what ends up amounting to subtly then jarringly intense, yet still character and story-driven, cinema that speaks more to indie stylings than mainstream.
'Blonde' commits a relentless assault on the autonomy of Marilyn Monroe, reducing the icon to nothing more than a victim of the director's whims.
From the cinematography to the script to the acting, Sorry, Baby is undoubtedly one of the best films of the year.
The film exhibits a respect for the craft and an empathy for human tribulations that have historically been ignored.
