On November 13, 2015, the German national football team experienced the incredible at the Stade de France in Paris: During the international match against France, explosives detonated directly in front of the stadium goals. During the game, Paris is rocked by a wave of terror. In the end, the attacks in a total of five different locations will cost the lives of 130 people, while 80,000 people in the stadium narrowly escape disaster at the hands of suicide bombers. It will be one of the darkest nights of France and European football.
The “gay best friend”, an age-old trope, has been done in countless films and television series. Ranging from one-note (Sex and the City's Stanford and Mario) to nuanced (Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt's Tituss), the gay best friend exists to support and advise the main protagonist, with their conflicts swept to the side.
At first glance, “The Good Liar” is a respectable piece of fiction, starring Ian McKellen and Helen Mirren. But underneath everything, the film expertly hones the unpredictability of deceit.

Overall, “Dark Fate” is a run-of-the-mill flick. Together, Reyes and Davis have excellent chemistry, but their characters’ story is nothing new, lacking surprise and deep emotion. During the middle points, the film drags considerably, and when the action hits, it feels consistently tight, eliminating the rhythm and fluidity of conflicts.
