Naturalist and filmmaker Simon Plowright has dedicated his life to understanding and protecting Tasmania's unique wildlife. That mission leads him to an old, abandoned farmhouse, where a community of rarely seen eastern quolls resides. A Girl Walks Home Alone At Night is mesmerizing, poetic, and stunning, both for its portrayal of feminist ideas and its powerful story that is both horrific and subtly romantic at once.
