Percy Scavenger works as a janitor at the Magnolia Mental Institution but when he learns that his nephew, Jamal has escaped the hospital he is force to pull double duty as a detective and find Jamal before Dr. Daverny the head psychiatrist does. Daverny's methods for taming patients who escape are often deadly and she is currently experimenting with a new drug that severely alters patient behavior and she is determined to use Magnolia patients as guinea pigs.
