Space Dandy: The Cosmic Compilation is a special feature-length edition of the hit sci-fi comedy anime. Follow Dandy, the coolest (and goofiest) alien hunter in the universe, along with his robot QT and cat-like companion Meow, as they journey across galaxies in search of rare aliens. Jordan Peele’s film is an intelligent and unflinching piece of work, firmly focused on the African American experience.
“Synchronic” is special, but it doesn’t succeed in achieving all the objectives it aims for. The film is a science fiction oeuvre which tries to be cerebral at some points, although the original idea is interesting, it only accomplishes to talk about some serious matters superficially.
Written and directed by Rian Johnson (Looper, Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi), Knives Out was one of the most clever and intricately crafted films of 2019.
Earth and Blood is slow, but it still has it’s entertaining moments. If you’re into thrillers, or want to watch something new, then this film might be for you. As for me, Earth and Blood was tolerable enough.
Kill Bill: Volume 1 is a highly entertaining flick, designed to tap into our levels of adrenaline. Tarantino has crafted a cinematic winner, overflowing with nostalgic richness and a love for cinema.
