
Ferhat and Şirin are two lovers who love each other passionately. Şirin's sister Meryem wants to marry her off to the Greek king, because this is a condition for the king to take them under his protection. Greek soldiers attack Şirin. King Hüsrev rescues the young girl. He does not reveal his identity as king. The people believe Hüsrev to be the king's spy and wound him. Ferhat rescues Hüsrev and treats his wound. Hüsrev feels indebted to Ferhat. He also keeps his identity as king hidden from Ferhat.
On March 31st, International Trans Day of Visibility, following some COVID related delays, the trailer was finally dropped, and although Taylour Paige and Riley Keough look to impress as lead characters Zola and Stefani, a brief cameo from a queer icon was what convinced me I have to see this movie.
