Time To Get Critical About Representation in “Shameless”
A decade since it aired, Shameless (U.S.) has always stuck to its guns (and baseball bats) about character diversity.

Next Door Studios has some really Naughty Hotties in store for you. Tyler has never seen what's commonly known as a glory hole. His friend Alex Vaara has seen 'em. He even knew a guy who got a blowjob through one of these mysterious passageways. Tommy Deluca is a private sort of guy. So when he comes home to find Jamie Aero poking around in his stuff, he is not at all amused. Max Morgan and Mike King are just a couple of young bucks who are bored and a little naive, but they are looking to expand their horizons. It's the last shoot of the last day, and honestly, Ryan Lynch, Dylan Andrews and Kristain James don't want to think about any lines of dialogue, acting cues or subtleties. They just want to get buck wild and let the camera roll. It's lunchtime at the house and Jay Kohl is busy in the kitchen making a sandwich when Rhett Brenner walks in. Rhett is famished too, and he wants something thick and meaty to put in his mouth.

Directed by Philip Barantini, the film stars Brown as Enola Holmes, estranged sister of Sherlock Holmes, Henry Cavill as Sherlock Holmes, and Louis Partridge as her love interest, Viscount Tewkesbury. While it deserves credit for its exciting action scenes and attempts to expand the diversity of its Dickensian setting, the most recent entry in the series completely scuttles Enola’s underdog status from the first films that made her so charming and gave a touch of realism to the story of a young, unmarried woman living in London while self-employed as a detective.
Throw a Goat For “Trolls: World Tour”
Trolls: World Tour doesn’t just pay lip service to diversity and inclusiveness. There is no white-washing of the voice actors. From the actual K-Pop group Red Velvet voicing the K-Pop Troll bounty hunters to Keenan Thompson playing the Tiny Diamond baby to Kunal Nayyar’s Guy Diamond, the cast includes more than just token minorities.
