Sylvester, the serial killer clown, has left a gruesome trail of bodies. For his next victim, he chose Lana. Once she enters his web, they begin a twisted game with Sylvester wanting to feed his hunger and Lana fighting for her life.
Although the budget was a dollar and a dream, Netflix's 'First Kill' managed to gain over 90 million viewing hours and a small cult following. So why was it canceled? Given the trends in series cancellations, it may have been because of the Black and queer protagonists.

I've stated before that I am very hard to please when it comes to this vein of the film industry's offerings, always leaning more towards that which sends chills through my very being in lieu of buckets of blood and gore.
The original series is now on Netflix, you should definitely give it a watch. And if you’ve already seen it, watch it again.
