After surviving countless battles against the infected, Zoey is haunted by a terrifying nightmare in which she is hunted through a fog-shrouded forest by a Hunter. Awakening in the safety of the Survivors' shelter, she pushes aside her fears and joins Bill, Francis, and Louis as they continue their desperate journey. With supplies packed and hope running thin, Francis leads the group toward the coastal town of Astoria, where he believes his brother can help them secure a fishing boat and a chance to escape the outbreak. As they fight through infected-filled streets and abandoned buildings, the Survivors must rely on each other to stay alive while confronting both relentless hordes and the emotional scars left by the apocalypse.
