‘Still’: An Interesting Premise With Poor Execution
Overall this movie was an easy watch, but by no means a worthwhile watch.

Hamid (Yashpal Sharma) is a righteous man, who despises anyone who poses a threat to his Bakarwal community (a nomadic tribe residing in upper Kashmir, mainly working as goatherds and shepherds) and the country in general. But all hell breaks loose when one of his own succumbs to pressure from a bunch of terrorists.

As many of us know, Marvel Studios has taken an interest in women-led superhero films, but some of us are oblivious to the women behind the camera and pen.
Overall, 18 Presents feels more like a soap opera than a drama, and I feel bad for saying that since the concept is based off a tragic story (even though it’s loosely). I’m sure other people will find this film emotional for them, but as for me, it’s bland and forgettable.
Elio could be seen as fantastic piece of representation, showing lonely children who feel ostracized that they are not alone. That is, unless you look behind the curtain.
This surprisingly clever romantic comedy perfectly balances genuine heart with wild reality television chaos. It is an uplifting and funny reminder that second chances and real community can show up exactly when you stop looking for them.
