The girl gets a job at a company, and one of the clients, Jan Merlecki, wins her heart. Things quickly become complicated, though. An anonymous phone call to her beloved's parents, followed by their intervention to prevent the young couple from marrying, prompts Krystyna to make a dramatic decision.
