Buster Bunny is trying to produce and direct the Tiny Toons Holiday Special, but it is not working. Montana max, makes him look bad, and then bribes the network executives into firing Buster and making him the producer. Buster thinks he has had it, and plans to throw himself out of cartoons forever. His guardian angel appears and shows him what Tiny Toons would be like without him.
Escape The Field is a serviceable horror thriller. The characters are easier to remember as horror character tropes. As I wrote this review, I only remembered the characters by their tropes: #FinalGirl, #Everyman, #Badass, #MeanB*/SexyGirl, #Realist/BlackLesbian, and #TheNerd.
At its heart, it’s a fond tribute to an influential artist and thus one that can speak to everyone’s inner artist, even if it lacks the sincere commentary you may wish to see.
What are we willing to walk through to see our dreams come to pass? Instead, obstacles arise, both physical and mental, which attempt to dissuade us or even prevent us from moving forward, stalling or stagnating the momentum to achieve what we desire. The age-old question remains….can we overcome? Or will we BE overcome?
