Bon Bon, a resident of Tuen Mun, who's always attempting to implement his latest pyramid scheme. Bon Bon saves daffy local girl Snooker from a potential rapist and decides to implement his latest scheme, "One Dollar Bodyguard": he'll protect women on their evening strolls for one HK dollar. Bon Bon has to attend to his own problem, which is his inability to ride in a moving vehicle, that strands him in Tuen Mun for life. And there's the romantic issue with Snooker to resolve.
Documented human suffering is never easy to view or read about and is understandably triggering for many people, but it can be educational, and education is a key to change. An overwhelming amount queer people worldwide (and in my own country) have it far worse than I could imagine, and documentaries such as Welcome to Chechnya bring issues to light that certain groups of people would never see.
It's good for your film viewing needs, but isn’t going to shake your world. Demonic is trippy sci-fi fun, and that’s about it. And that's pretty cool.
This little Netflix film was very inspirational. It passes the Bechdel test, and features a different worldview with rural Indian representation.
