Author Gregor writes successful romance novels under a female pseudonym and makes his readers' hearts beat faster. When a woman suddenly has to appear on stage at an awards ceremony to protect his secret identity, his publisher comes under pressure. Without further ado, she hires the quick-witted cab driver Elke, who has clear ideas about how this literary double role should be played.
Earth and Blood is slow, but it still has it’s entertaining moments. If you’re into thrillers, or want to watch something new, then this film might be for you. As for me, Earth and Blood was tolerable enough.
After the 2018 surprising hit "A Quiet Place" brought something fresh to the horror genre, the announcement of a sequel may have been disappointing to some. A lot of the time, a sequel to an already successful movie is no where near as good as the original. Yet, John Krasinski once again shows that he's much more than Jim from The Office.

Emma Stone (Estella and Cruella) and Emma Thompson (the Baroness) did not come to play around in Cruella. They embodied the perfect balance of sinister and sincere. Estella went through a great hero's journey, and what a journey it was!
