In order to return home to his sweetheart, a lovesick soldier is tasked with a dangerous mission to signal the location of a German radio tower for incoming Allied bombers. Whilst he battles across war-torn France, a relentless German commandant picks up his trail and engages in a deadly pursuit that could change the course of the war.
In a film where a Black couple is framed to be the lead characters, they still managed to get shuffled off to the sidelines. The enthusiastic cast delivers well on goofy bits- but can only go so far before they begin to fall flat.
The sequel to the 2021 remake of the same name continues from where we last left off in this spooky adventure.
Striving for validation. Let’s be frank….we ALL want to be successful. Whatever we put our efforts into, ideally it is to make it culminate in the best possible results across the board, especially when it comes to what career path we are pursuing. However, what occurs when those whom we initially put our trust in suddenly become a burden instead of a boon? Do we falter under the weight of rejection? Or STAND UP for WHO WE ARE?
The Force Awakens is A New Hope 2.0, in essence. The story structure is virtually unchanged, marking a safe opening to the new trilogy.
