# The Story of Adam and Hawa This tells the story of Adam, a deaf young man who can hear, struggling to pay off his father's debt to Tokan. Meanwhile, Adam falls in love with Hawa, a girl who is both deaf and mute. Eventually, Adam discovers that Hawa is actually his twin sister who was separated from him when they were young. The story follows two disabled couples—Hawa (deaf and mute) and Adam (mute)—who fall in love with each other. Adam comes from a poor urban family; his father Ibrahim is constantly threatened by Tokan (an organized criminal) due to his old debts. For his father's sake, Adam is forced to work for Tokan, doing illegal work to pay off all his father's debts. By fate, one day Adam snatches Hawa's handbag. Upon examining Hawa's identification card, Adam realizes that Hawa is the girl who once saved him during an accident. Adam awakens and repents. Adam finds the courage to meet Hawa, who lives with a wealthy family yet remains devoted to faith and piety.
