Sam and his family have not celebrated Deepavali for a long time. The relationship between Sam and his family has also become increasingly distant. Because of this, Sam becomes more determined to accept a job offer at a photography studio located in Sydney, Australia. Sam considers this offer as the best path for the next phase of his life. One day, Sam's grandfather is admitted to the hospital due to a heart attack. This incident causes Sam to begin efforts to bring his family members closer together again. However, he must face various challenges and time is running out. He tries to cook dinner for his family. But in the end, all his family members quarrel at the dining table. Sam does not give up; he takes his family to Batu Caves hoping that this 'family outing' can bring his family members closer together. Once again they quarrel.
