A veritable object of desire, the wallpaper with which he covers his interior obsesses him to the point of literally cutting him off from the rest of the world. Alone, as if lost in the middle of the ocean, he develops a strange passion for it that gradually consumes him.
As a whole, Sightless pushed boundaries between illusion and reality. It made viewers question if there really is a difference. Ellen was strong, brave, and even compassionate given her situation. She was a force to be reckoned with.
