American retailers lose $45 billion annually to theft. And for every dumb kid who thinks he's above the law, there's a loss prevention officer eager to get him. Watch as these criminals sweat it out before they're given a hard choice: ruin their lives and go with the cops, or get fucked hard by the officer who caught them and go free. Each scene is shot on hidden cameras, capturing every stressful moment, including interrogation, put downs, even invasive cavity searches. Coerced, humiliated, and thoroughly used, these delinquents have no choice but to bend over and take it.

Sorry to Bother You ultimately speaks to the unfair advantages that the country’s power structures award to those with the resources to control others, as Lift’s easy access to the media allows his opinion to be the only one that matters in the eyes of the unsuspecting and easily impressed public. Moreover, it reveals the extent to which the American Dream has any true validity. It postulates how the promise of success and fulfillment as promoted by the American Dream more often than not leads to the undoing of the individual. Interestingly, in its revealing of the American Dream as merely a facade, Sorry to Bother You wisely questions whether or not anything can really be done to undo a system that has been accepted and in action for centuries.
The Legendary Clades - a family of explorers - find themselves in a strange new world with fantastic creatures awaiting them. Perhaps their greatest challenge will be healing the ties that bond.

The film does not add anything to its own conversation or genre, and falls flat once it’s about to end and must declare some sort of conclusion.
