Pia has dropped out of school to work as a journalist in her father's newsdesk, but struggles to communicate with other people. When her mentally ill grandfather passes away, Pia get offered to take over his apartment. In the middle of the moving process she finds suddenly some secret papers her grandfather has hidden away. These documents suggest that someone controls internet, and have scary plans for the world's population. Pia starts to examine his claims in her grandfather's documents, before she know it, she is trapped in a race between life and death.
A refreshing twist is that all the kids’ powers are…kind of useless. There’s a kid who can only move in slow motion, a kid who has every power in the world but can only use them randomly, and our main character Missy who has no powers at all. The thesis of the film seems to be that it doesn’t matter what kind of powers you have, its the way you use them, which is good for the warm and fuzzies.

Well, if San Francisco-based, Pakistani-born independent filmmaker Dr. Hassan Zee and this film critic have anything to say about it, there IS such a beast as experienced through the director's newest feature film set to officially debut October 4th in the City by the Bay. Folks, indie film will always be a bastion of experimentation and originality, and this film for me fits that bill.
