“Vitals. A True Human Story” shows the first-hand experience of a group of Covid-19 victims, their careers, and their families during the most critical months, in the Parc Taulí Hospital in Sabadell. It is a story about struggle, solidarity, and life.
I highly recommend Dark Waters. It’s a highly engrossing picture, which lends itself to cautionary storytelling. The dark information continually grows, inspiring change and accountability altogether. Overall, Haynes’ picture will not be known for its inclusiveness--but it will be known for being a fantastic, engrossing film.
This film manages to be simultaneously topical and timeless. Without being preachy, it highlights society’s flawed relationship with tech; insights into the complex ideas of family struggle are expertly dispersed among a perfectly paced and balanced story.
