"Kajillionaire": A Strange, Beautiful, and Gentle Story of Lost and Found Home
'Kajillionaire' is a touching and eccentric story about family, crime, and the search for belonging.

A psycho-rage thriller about a man on the verge of insanity. A strung-out lawyer takes a pizza guy captive in an isolated cabin, leading to a drug-fueled battle of wills for survival that quickly spirals out of control. Then it gets worse.

Supergirl is a decent movie, anchored by great action scenes and a great lead performance
Netflix’s new comedy drama, Don’t Say Good Luck, is a heartwarming tearjerker as well as a love letter to the transformative power of being a theater kid. Directed by Julia Hart, Don’t Say Good Luck follows Sophie (Sunny Sandler), a theater kid who finally gets the lead role in her school’s production of Waitress - just as she finds out her mom Elizabeth (Melanie Lynskey) is dying of cancer. While the singing is by no means spectacular and Sandler’s acting is stiff, the film is grounded in the moving performance of Lynskey as a mother who wants nothing more than for her daughter to achieve her dreams, even if she can’t be there to see them.
"The Old Guard" doesn't break ground, but it sure does bust boredom and fictional heads as an entertaining action romp on Netflix.
Overall, Sand Castle was another lack luster war drama that will eventually fade into the many similar war dramas I have seen throughout my life.
The 1950s lesbian romance is stunning, emotional, restrained, and, simply put, one of the best movies I’ve ever seen depicting a woman-loving-woman (WLW) relationship.
