Live concert footage, revealing backstage antics and a full documentary make this a real treat for any fan of the legendary Uriah Heep. This is the longest-serving lineup of the band, and the tightness as they play hits such as "Return to Fantasy," "Mr. Majestic," "Sunrise," and "Between Two Worlds" really shines through. Introduced by rock DJ Tommy Vance, these legends show that they've still got what it takes.
The plot could’ve really been interesting if the elements of lycanthropy was integrated with perhaps the struggle of identity of being LGBTQ+. It's an experience for so many that as they’re starting to realizing their true selves, they feel like a monster, especially if they come from unsupportive homes or communities. Instead, the horror and transformation elements seem thrown in without contemplation of how this could deepen the narrative.
"Abominable" is an exciting story for children and a great step forward for positive Asian representation.
The film didn’t have to be as long as it is. It just dragged on and on with scenes that had no substance. Every so often we get an action scene, and even those isn’t that fun.
I think these messages and the way they are presented in this small-town in Texas are increasingly more important as the internet/ social media becomes more and more critical and judgemental every day. Love yourself today and every day because as Ru Paul always says: “If you can’t love yourself, how in the hell are you gonna love someone else?”

Severance is about breaking down facades and confronting old models that were once frameworks of our lives. The somewhat subtle message to me is it’s never too late to fall in love, no matter your insecurities.
