Un sanglant symbole is two films: the film of the image and the film of the voice. The film of the image was shot before the film of the voice. The film of the image is the reproduction of 160 photographs (of films, advertisements, news ...) filmed in variable durations (more and more slowly, then more and more quickly). What do we see? Looks. Hand gestures. The film of the voice is not a comment. Neither a voice-over: in no way does this voice have such a status and even less the character of an exhibit for a better understanding of the film. On the contrary, she perverts, disturbs, worries.
What makes a person different, and who is considered normal? Based on a true story, The Unbreakable Boy follows the life of Austin LeRette, a young boy with autism and osteogenesis imperfecta, as he navigates daily life with optimism and resilience.

In Amazon’s new shark flick, The Devil’s Mouth, terrible tourists finally get their comeuppance while two estranged best friends must overcome their petty squabbles to survive as the rest of their party gets chomped one by one. While it’s by no means an Oscar winner, The Devil’s Mouth is good old fashioned shark week carnage with a tourist critical twist, perfect with popcorn, a friend, and a healthy does of schadenfreude.
Turning Red' has received hate for being 'unrelatable' while dealing with one of the most human experiences. Despite the Turning Red controversy that it's unrelatable, it is yet another Pixar classic that will inevitably stand the test of time.
So with the recent (rightful) public apologies to Britney from comedians and media for trashing her image in the 2000s, perhaps some people should also give Crossroads the fair chance it deserves. It won't be everyone's cup of tea, and that is fine. Personally, I will take my girl Britney and her movie, over the next testosterone "Dude Flick" any day.
