In this musical, fairly light movie, two young people, Joey and Piper are in love. They embark on a cruise to Paris to get married, with the acerbic but kind Aggie as a chaperon. Along the way, their sweet innocent romance runs into trouble when Coco, a french dancer uses Joey to make her straying boyfriend jealous.
Trolls: World Tour doesn’t just pay lip service to diversity and inclusiveness. There is no white-washing of the voice actors. From the actual K-Pop group Red Velvet voicing the K-Pop Troll bounty hunters to Keenan Thompson playing the Tiny Diamond baby to Kunal Nayyar’s Guy Diamond, the cast includes more than just token minorities.

It was just going to be six episodes, which was short considering that all the other seasons — except season 7 — were 10 episodes. 10. 6 wasn’t enough, and even HBO wanted to give the writers more episodes. More seasons, even. However, the writers wanted to get out of the show as quickly as possible to work on other projects. This abruptness is clearly shown in this season.
