Hitchcock's Subtextual Coding in 'Rope'
Hitchcock is no stranger to innuendo, as was common in that era, but there was something so sophisticated about his approach to 'Rope', and it starts in the first frame.

No pampered queens in this domain! STAXUS presents a world of twinkish egalitarianism – though admittedly some cocks are arguably bigger than others! Kamyk Walker and Connor Levi are the stalwarts; Chase Hunt and Oscar Roberts some of the fresh faces you’re also set to come across. While this might initially sound like a negative thing, in the show’s land of Etheria being on the gay spectrum is shown to be so common and normalized that straight isn’t the default. As much as there is to appreciate about narratives revolving around the obstacles that may come from being non-heteronormative, it’s nice to get immersed in a world where no one bats an eye at all to any sort of differing identity.

This Halloween movie is a remake of the 2003 movie of the same name with Black representation.
