The fly, flying over the field, found a coin. Pleased with this fact, she went to the bazaar to buy a samovar and invite her friends to celebrate her birthday. But then a misfortune came - a spider burst into the festival and stole our fly. None of the guests decided to join the spider in a duel, except for a small, but brave gnat. Fortunately, everything worked out, and fly and gnat made a harmonious pair.
‘Sexy Beasts’ promotes itself as different from other dating shows as being not appearance-based. This is true to some extent thanks to the special effects makeup. However, looks do still play a role despite the masks.
Ripley is a great character because she serves two distinct, but rewarding, purposes in the original film and the sequel.

This is not a slavery story, it is a freedom story. The viewers only see Harriet as a slave for the first few minutes of the film. To me, it felt like watching the origin story of a superhero…which is both good and bad.
This Netflix series is a remake based on the book series of the same name with a more diverse main cast.
I suppose you could argue that the story wasn’t what Director James Cameron was aiming for, it was the visuals. The spectacle of it all was the point, and it certainly shows.
