
Writer Cédric Gras follows in the footsteps of Stalinist mountaineers in Kyrgyzstan. Pioneers of Central Asian exploration, they were first on the highest peaks of the Celestial Mountains. The film traces one of their expeditions to the Khan Tengri, which has become an amazing glacial trek.
I’m still trying to comprehend the psychological and moral implications of their fascination with each other, or why their almost written-in-the-stars depth of connection makes so much sense.
The one-way journey went to the desert that refused to offer an answer or a transcendence.
"Abominable" is an exciting story for children and a great step forward for positive Asian representation.
As noted in the headline, I didn’t like this movie. Not to say it’s the worst thing ever, but it’s just…meh. Nothing much to it. Very generic. No surprises. At the very least, the cast is diverse so I’ll give it that.
Season three of Netflix’s "You" has finally made its comeback! Was it worth the wait? Well…I would not say so. It felt like a bit of a chore to get through. But, as I am somewhat of a completionist, I eventually saw the season through to the end.
