When Belle confronts Robert, she learns that her son was having an affair with a member of the Jewish mob family. Caving to Belle's pressure, Robert tells her the body is in the car trunk. Belle opens the trunk to learn that the deceased body is that of a man. A brief moment of acceptance, then everything goes wrong.
