Taking place before, concurrently, and after the first film, Vinnie receives his drug shipment only to find out someone is suspicious of his activities. Trying to find a way to get the drugs out onto the streets, he enlists the help of his best friend who suggests an associate: Tom Cortini. The two decide to hire a delivery boy and start getting the drugs onto the market, unaware of what's actually happening behind the scenes. The two storylines intertwine and soon come to an explosive and shocking end for all those involved
Overall, “Dark Fate” is a run-of-the-mill flick. Together, Reyes and Davis have excellent chemistry, but their characters’ story is nothing new, lacking surprise and deep emotion. During the middle points, the film drags considerably, and when the action hits, it feels consistently tight, eliminating the rhythm and fluidity of conflicts.
I understand that this would have been consistent with the language used by that generation, due to its role in the medical profession, however as someone who has family members with Down Syndrome I took it very personally.

I'll never forget sitting in the theater on opening night, witnessing a CGI mouth on Henry Cavill's face about five seconds into Justice League. That's a thing of nightmares if I must say. Anyways, right then and there, I knew I desperately needed Zack Snyder's film.
Omaha reminds us of what it can feel like to look at old family photographs. You sit with the bittersweetness, allowing it to wash over you; not drowning in it, but certainly affected by it.
