When Burhan loses his father at a young age, he begins living with Nazım Paşa, who worked alongside his father. Nazım Paşa plans to marry his daughter to Ragıp, a doctor. Nüzhet, who refuses to accept this marriage because of her love for Burhan, makes a great sacrifice for Burhan's recovery.
