The Super Mario Galaxy Movie comes on the heels of its billion-dollar grossing predecessor, and seeks to do absolutely nothing other than repeat its success. In this, the film is eminently effective. With barbecues, beach trips, and fireworks galore, this is the month where we celebrate our country. The power of a talented female director like Patty Jenkins and an overall diverse cast is what makes this film worth watching for me.
