Journeying through fire and water, he finds himself on a highland meadow where, beside a great bonfire, he sees four mavkas and dissolves into the fabric of time and space. At the same time, elder molfars recount their wondrous tales of the supernatural - stories filled with the essence of life in one of the most mystical regions of Ukraine: Hutsulshchyna.
The story is a moving sentiment of letting go of the past and putting trust and faith into others. Though you come into this world alone, surrounding yourself with others that support you and want to help is the greatest gift life could ever give.
