Two police officers investigate the disappearance of a store clerk. During the investigation they arrive at the house of a mysterious girl and discover that the landlady is a psychopathic murderer and that the body of the boy is in the wine cellar together with so many others. One of the two agents are hurt by the murderer, the other one succeeds in killing her/it. For Francis, the police officer survivor, is not ended: a long nightmare is about to begin.

While checking out the title card and its unpretentious Netflix release might lead viewers to believe Apex is just another celebrity project churned out of the streaming machine, Apex - whether by luck or by intention - is a consistently harrowing film about the reality of being a woman in a public space.
You can have the best filmmaker and cast in the world, but if the script is lacking, you’re in a troublesome state. Such is the case with Gemini Man, a film full of tremendous artists.
