“Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey” is a Netflix Christmas Treat
Black Christmas movies are few and far in between to find — so it is wonderful to see more representation on the screen just in time

The French Surete and private eye Higgins are after a killer who uses innocent young Americans in a crooked gambling racket, and who sets sail on an ocean liner that also carries inept scoutmaster Freddie Hunter and his troop of boys. Freddie, who's been a "boy scout" too long, has designs on gorgeous Duchess Alexandria. The boys, far better organized than Freddie, are determined to save him from himself. But who will save Freddie from being the killer's next victim?

In an all-black community in Louisiana, a young girl learns her father has committed infidelity and turns to hoodoo to seek justice.
'Pariah' tells a powerful, mesmerizing, and unflinchingly honest story of identity.
Written and directed by Eva Victor, who also plays Agnes, the main character, Sorry, Baby is slow and artsy, but extremely effective. It shows how the trauma developed after a sexual assault has a ripple effect and loudly echoes in the victim and her life for years after.
Overall this movie was an easy watch, but by no means a worthwhile watch.
Stranger Things season 4 ups the ante to the max! The show’s scope has been expanding for the past three seasons, and boy do they give us a spectacle to behold. As much as I love spectacle, this season occasionally buckles under the weight of its own ambition.
