During an investigation into the disappearance of her cat, lonely teenage Freya Lundstrum begins to uncover the gruesome history of her house. Each new piece of information points to one conclusion -inhuman precedence lurking within the walls of 230 Briar Rd. realizing that she cannot defeat the enemy alone, Freya seeks the help of two former occupants. But time is running out for Freya to save herself and her mother from becoming the house's latest victims.
This is not a slavery story, it is a freedom story. The viewers only see Harriet as a slave for the first few minutes of the film. To me, it felt like watching the origin story of a superhero…which is both good and bad.
Overall, Sand Castle was another lack luster war drama that will eventually fade into the many similar war dramas I have seen throughout my life.
Overall, The Shining is a great film to watch for its atmosphere and setting. While the characters’ portrayals could’ve been more accurate to the book, they’re all still memorable nonetheless.

Ultimately the problem with The Bubble is that it plays everything for laughs to get around the audience’s defenses. But it comes off like a privileged white male thinking that ridiculing everyone else equally is the road to equality. And it’s not. And it's definitely not funny to pretend that it is.
