The idea was to portray the children's way through the elementary school in one of the "new Sweden" suburbs. But the project grew and continued into the 1980s, 90s and 2000s. A curious, penetrating and tender portrait of a generation that grew up in the Swedish Million Program in the 1970s and which has become middle-aged in a globalized 2000s.
