It’s been five months since Wayward premiered on Netflix and it still has some of us in a choke-hold.

The classic ghosts-in-revenge story expanded into an extensive dig into the historical social system while being funny and horny.

This Transgender Day of Remembrance, let us take a look at six films about transgender children grappling with their identity in a heteronormative world that despises their kind and tries its best to invalidate their feelings.

As noted in the headline, I didn’t like this movie. Not to say it’s the worst thing ever, but it’s just…meh. Nothing much to it. Very generic. No surprises. At the very least, the cast is diverse so I’ll give it that.

It is up to the community to decide if this film is a force for enlightenment or not.
