An instructional and inspiring story portrayal of the struggles of the Filipino working masses in their quest to own their dream homes. The film, together with its own theme song by the same title, aims to illustrate how real and possible it is for anyone to attain their goals with their proper knowledge and committed values - ultimately, the love for family and faith in God.
If you are a discerning movie watcher and/or an African-American with a modicum of Black consciousness, this film isn’t for you. It would be better to watch the documentary ‘They Fight’ to see the impactful, emotional story of Walter Manigan and the young men of DC’s Ward 8.

Overall, Cruella stands above the other Disney retellings. Its dark and bold, and that is exactly what these retellings should be. Emma Stone continues to prove she's one of the finest young actresses working today, and Emma Thompson gives one of the best villain performances in the last decade. The fashion is stunning, the dogs are adorable, and the story is wildly vibrant and original. It's classic movie fun, and it shouldn't be overlooked.
