In order to prepare himself for rejection, Mark Cronin makes a film documenting all the possible ways he can get rejected by his crush. Along the way, he gets help from his friends and fellow classmates. While this is happening, he struggles with his anxiety and confidence that is being destroyed by his OCD.
The film is a simple love story reminiscent of stories like The Notebook released in 2004. Sylvie and Robert are rarely actually together in the film, however; time and circumstance keep them away from each other, and the audience waits with bated breath to see them find one another over and over.
This showcase of Hollywood’s finest talent will certainly be around come awards season, and much deserved
Seriously, and this is coming from someone who was extremely skeptical before giving it a watch. I assumed the show would be painfully boring, but one of the show's strongest qualities is you needn't know anything about the lore to get invested in it.

Were the film to be directed by someone with experiences more similar to Anne, it would likely be more powerful--as it is, it feels like a man’s perspective of what it means to come to terms with your identity as a lesbian.
