‘Lyle’, Cool Concept, Poor Execution.
The idea of Rosemary's baby but with lesbian partners drew me in, and I was anticipating what the film had in store with its reimagining. Unfortunately, it all felt a little too vague to leave an impact.

After the unexpected death of his mistress, Egor appears as the only possible guardian for her eleven-year-old son Roman. Egor is attached to the boy, but is afraid to lose his wife and two daughters if he tells them the truth about his double life. The boy is about to go into an orphanage. Egor must decide: lose Roman for the sake of his family, or confess to his family and bring home the son of the “other woman”.
