'Midnight at the Paradise' premieres tomorrow at Toronto's Paradise Theatre! I had the pleasure to sit down with Vanessa Matsui to discuss the making of this film.

Technical school student Bram get permission for an original end assignment: with eight mates, all from construction-related majors, he'll renovate a house. The mayor gets them one, to be converted into a sort of neighborhood center. Trough shorts scenes and interviews with the boys (including two brothers and and a girl) and their loves ones, we mainly learn their way of life, interaction, aspirations, opinions, family - and love lives, pastimes etcetera.
