'Blue Beetle': Family over Fanfare
'Blue Beetle' is another solid addition to the superhero film canon.

Winter, Friday. A group of young university students leave for a weekend in São João da Cruz to celebrate their promotion to the prestigious Academic Life Association (AVA). The young people's fun turns to terror when, at night, on Praia da Cruz beach, a hazing ritual is taken to the extreme.
'Blue Beetle' is another solid addition to the superhero film canon.
This incarnation of Animal Farm is filled with the generic plot points, immature humor, cardboard characters and visual flaws that you have come to know from today’s lesser children’s films.
With a cast of exceptional and exclusively openly gay actors, "Boys In The Band" takes on themes of homophobia, racism, vanity, and substance abuse.
That gut-wrenching feeling you have while watching it is okay but needed, and you, the viewer, will be okay.
Striving for validation. Let’s be frank….we ALL want to be successful. Whatever we put our efforts into, ideally it is to make it culminate in the best possible results across the board, especially when it comes to what career path we are pursuing. We WANT to excel, to shine, to advance, to be acknowledged. AND…let’s hope that we also wish to better everyone around us to boot. However, what occurs when those whom we initially put our trust in suddenly become a burden instead of a boon? Do we falter under the weight of rejection? Or STAND UP for WHO WE ARE?
It is as bad as your remember, and you are fortunate if you've never watched it. Keep it that way!
