Involuntary Self-Isolation: Stranded On a Desert Island in “Sweetheart”
Sweetheart provides a stark example of self-isolation taken to its extreme.

Kazuko, a former national-level competitive swimmer who is drowning in heavy debt, flees from loan sharks and seeks refuge with Aota, an old school friend who now works as a high school teacher. Aota agrees to hide her, but in exchange, he forces her to act as the coach for the school's struggling swimming club, which is preparing for an upcoming inter-school meet against a neighboring school. With the swimming club severely lacking members, Kazuko uses her looks and charms to recruit students into joining. As she works with the team, their swimming performance and lap times begin to improve drastically. Beneath the surface of the sports-themed setup, the swimming meet involves corrupt underhanded deals, dragging Kazuko and the students into a web of adult conspiracies orchestrated by school figures.

We got a movie that takes the old school approach of trying to creep you out with chilling atmosphere more than anything else.
Like many things, like animals and people, they always evolve. When the first humans walked the Earth, they originated from Africa and were all black.
One of my favorite aspects of My Movie Starring Paul Dano is its blend of illustrations and dream sequences within its mockumentary structure. As the script is written, we are shown how the movie Bear Naked Amazonians From Mars looks in Herman’s head, with all its retro b movie campy charm.
Greta Garbo, a queer actress playing a real-life queer Queen is the best of both worlds.
‘Oppenheimer’ is a force to be reckoned with. A biopic that respects the audience’s intelligence.
